Where do you find the best soup in Salt Lake City? It all depends on what type your'e loooking for. Our experience over the years has always brought us back to two places in Salt Lake. First, Lumpys on 3000 So. Highland Drive has had a 15 year reputation for turning out some of the best soups found in Salt Lake City, and a bowl only costs 3 bucks. The only problems are, is that they can't make enough to satisfy all of the diners that want the particular soup of the day. And that leads to the 2nd problem, they only make one soup a day. On the weekends, "No Soup For You". During the week, on Mondays and Tuesdays, they mix it up a bit. It could be a Chicken Tortilla or a Pelozi, or even a French Onion, you never know. But, every Wednesday they serve up one of the best Tomato soups you'll ever have. Same thing with Thursdays, the best Chicken Noodle around! And on Fridays, it's a tie for the best New England Clam Chowder in Salt Lake. That tie is with The Soup Kitchen. They have 5 locations throughout Salt Lake City and the nice part of it is, you don't have to wait until Friday to have the Clam Chowder. It is pure heavenly! They usually have about 7 types of soup every day, mondays thru fridays, along with a wide variety of sandwiches. You know that they have to be good, It's Always Crowded!
